LYNDSEY ARGAST | Revolution Dance Studio

Lyndsey Argast

Lyndsey is the Director of Teams for Revolution Dance Studio and the Director of Revolution Dance Company. She began her dance training at the age of 3, attending various dance studios in the Plainfield area training in all styles of dance, with the culmination of her high school dance training as a member of Revolution Dance Company. She also participated in Plainfield South’s dance team. After graduating high school, Lyndsey was a Universal Dance Association camp instructor, traveling around the Midwest to instruct high school dance teams in choreography and technique.

To start out her professional career, Lyndsey was a member of the Kate Jablonski Statement, a pre-professional contemporary dance company in the Chicagoland area for 3 seasons while attending college at Loyola University Chicago. Lyndsey graduated cum laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, as well as a minor in dance from Loyola in 2014. Lyndsey was assistant coach to the Joliet Catholic Academy Varsity dance team from 2017 through 2019, culminating in an IHSA 1A State Championship.

Lyndsey became 200-hour power yoga certified in April of 2017, Acrobatic Arts module one certified in November of 2017, Alixa Flexibility module one and two certified in July and September of 2020, Acrobatic Arts module two certified in August of 2021, Alixa Flexibility module three certified in July of 2023, and Progressing Contemporary Technique certified in August of 2024. Lyndsey enjoys continuing education for the safety and technical advancement of her dancers.

Lyndsey danced professionally for a contemporary dance company in Chicago called Still Inspired, in which visual art and choreography are combined to create dance works for six seasons. She also attended Aurora University to receive her Master’s in Business Administration in December of 2021.

As a choreographer for Revolution Dance Company, Lyndsey has received numerous choreography awards and National titles. She is happy to bring her knowledge of injury prevention and management to her students, allowing them to achieve lasting dance educations, and reach their fullest potential.

Ambrielle Barker | Revolution Dance Studio

Ambrielle Talkie

Ambrielle began her dance training in the Chicagoland area at the age of 5 and has trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. She has had the honor of training with many industry professionals such as the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss, assisting at conventions around the country, and appearing in music videos. After several years of working as a pre-professional contemporary dancer at events around Chicagoland and then following a long-time dream of working at Disney World as a character performer, she returned to the Chicagoland area to pursue her passion for teaching.

Ambrielle prides herself on being a  “jack of all trades”. She has experience teaching and choreographing for dancers of all levels and skill, from beginner dancers to competitive teams as well as in styles ranging from ballet to hip hop. Ambrielle is also an Acrobatic Arts certified instructor with five years of coaching experience and is a nationally recognized choreographer with multiple top award-winning solo and group pieces.

In her spare time, Ambrielle enjoys all sorts of artistic endeavors as well as running her TikTok account where she posts K-pop dance covers!

Martin Bronson | Revolution Dance Studio

Martin Bronson

Martin Bronson began his training at his family’s dance studio in St. Louis, Missouri under the tutelage of his older sister, and continued his tap education at several tap festivals in St. Louis, Chicago, and New York City. Martin performed with Diva La Tap in St. Louis, Chicago Tap Theatre, co-founded The Tapmen tap company, and served as Rehearsal Director of Chicago Human Rhythm Project’s BAM! Martin was the recipient of the Artist in Resonance Grant for creation of new tap works in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Martin is also a passionate dance educator, regularly teaching master classes around the nation with recent credits including CHRP’s Rhythm World and Dance Masters of America. He has also developed education programs for Audible Odyssey and Chicago Human Rhythm Project.

Kim Hanna

KIM HANNA

With 30 years of teaching experience in dance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Kim Hanna has been trained in classical ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, and tap. Her dance training has taken place through Columbia College under the direction of Shirley Mordine, Lou Conte Dance Studio, Gus Giordano Dance Studio, Xtreme Dance Center, Nicole Gifford Dance classes, and American Dance Center Teacher Training Program under the direction of Kathleen Sims, American Ballet Theater and Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo in NYC. She still continues her education through Joel Hall Dance Company classes. Kim has also taught for the Chicago Festival Ballet school under the direction of Kenneth VonHeidecke, protégé of Maria Tallchief. Kim Hanna has also taught for several studios in the Chicagoland area. She is a certified Tumbling Effects teacher and is consistently aims to continue her teaching education. Kim has performed for companies such as Coca Cola, Borden Dairy, Excalibur, D.J. International Records, D.A.R.E., Illinois State Building and modeled for Westfield Shopping Centers, John Casablanca, and Jean Marie Salon. She continues to be active in the community, teaching dance to all age groups and training teachers to work with the very young. Kim has also worked as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher and Paraprofessional for Homer School District 33C. Ms. Kim enjoys her time with her family and volunteering with the Lockport Marching Porters, Art Appreciation, and supporting her college age child as a Marching Jayhawk.

Rebecca McClelland | Revolution Dance Studio

REBECCA MCCLELLAND

Rebecca “Becca” McClelland has been dancing since the age of 6. She has studied all areas of dance; Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Musical Theater, and Modern. During her many years of dance, she has also taken classes with numerous master dance instructors. Michelle Broviak, Ted Jackson, Kacey Combs, Missy Ridgeway, Avnun Y, and Jason Janis are a few of her favorite instructors she has studied under. She danced competitively with Gotta Dance Studio’s Starlite Dancers for over 10 years. She achieved top awards and high scores in both groups numbers and solos at numerous Regional and National Dance Competitions. Becca was an intern at Walt Disney World, Florida in 2004. She was a cast member in the Entertainment Department. She enjoyed being several different Disney characters. She also danced in the parades and took lessons in Stilt Walking. While earning her Associates Degree at COD, she also took ballet and jazz classes and performed with the college. Becca has also performed semi-professionally with the Chicago White Socks, Chicago Human Rhythm Project, Coldwell Banker conventions, Taste of Chicago, and other area festivals. Becca began teaching dance as an assistant teacher at the age of 12 and has been teaching for over 20 years. Styles she has taught include tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theater. She has worked with adults and children of all ages in all levels of dance. Most recently she choreographed solos, duets, and group numbers that placed in top 10 Overall, received many high scores, and judges awards. She also is a Pre-School teacher as well as a dance instructor at the Joliet Park District.

Alvin Ramirez

ALVIN RAMIREZ

Alvin Ramirez was born in the Philippines and lived there for his first ten years. He now resides in the Chicagoland area where he teaches and mentors the youths of today. Alvin trained in hip hop, contemporary and breaking since the age of 17. Through his performing/competition and training years, Alvin lived in the competition world winning numerous overall first place awards and earning scholarships throughout the country. He has performed and opened up for several top recording artists such as Ciara, Ludacris, Soulja Boy, Twista, Mims, Tyrese and many more. Alvin has also been showcased in a top Las Vegas show and was a choreographer for the internationally broadcasted MLS All Star Game Half-time Show, featuring top recording artist Lupe Fiasco on ESPN. He has also choreographed for the NBA Detroit Pistons dance team Automotion, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, University of Michigan and as well as University of North Carolina. Two of his greatest accomplishments were being able to compete on Randy Jackson’s Americas Best Dance Crew Season 2 on MTV and also being an assistant coach on MTV’s Made Show. Alvin continues teaching all over the country while he sets award winning hip hop routines for numerous dance studios and companies. He is also a faculty for Center Stage Dance Academy in Huntley, Illinois and Tracey and Heather’s Dance Synergy in Springfield, Illinois. When he is not focusing on his dance career, he continues to grow his clothing line, He[ART] Clothing, Inc. Alvin is currently self-training through different arts and disciplines and continues to search for more knowledge.

LORIE HOLTEY-RAMIREZ

Lorie Holtey-Ramirez is originally from Yakima, Washington where she owned a successful studio for 16 years. Not only herself, but her students have won numerous awards and scholarships, with many going off to dance through college and in the professional scene. Dancing since the age of 6 she is trained in all areas of dance such as Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Baton, and gymnastics – she is a diverse and well-rounded dancer and teacher with 30+yrs of experience.

Lorie has traveled all over the country, Canada, Australia, Mexico, Costa Rica, London, and South Africa working for dance competitions and conventions. She teaches, choreographs, and shares her love, passion, and knowledge for dance. She toured with Hoctor’s Dance Caravan for 6yrs, working with, assisting, and performing with some of the greats in the dance world! She has been with Starpower National Talent since 1998, tabulating, judging, and giving Masterclasses. One of her favorite jobs was working for All American Cheer and Dance with the Pro Bowl Pre-game and Halftime shows in Hawaii for 17 years as part of the production team, assistant, featured dancer, and coordinator. She has choreographed, coached, and worked with several high school cheer squads, dance teams, and Color guards. Lorie has also done judging and choreography for opening numbers and individual routines for pageants. A few fun moments were being a featured dancer with such artists as Backstreet Boys, 98 Degrees, Sugar Ray, Lifehouse, Goo Goo Dolls, Enrique Iglesias, Cierra, & Jennifer Love Hewitt, just to name a few. She loves working with all ages and levels but has a special place in her heart for the "Littles"!

Jonathan Bostelman | Revolution Dance Studio

JONATHAN BOSTELMAN

Jonathan began his training in southern Indiana where he had the opportunity to train under members of Louisville Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, and Dance Kaleidoscope, training in ballet, Graham Modern, Horton Modern, and other styles. He received his BA from Belhaven University where he developed his teaching philosophy taking classes in pedagogy, kinesiology, and dance history. Throughout his performing career, he has had the opportunity to perform in venues across the United States and work with renowned choreographers including Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater associate Artistic Director Mathew Rushing, and performing works by choreographers such as William Forsythe. Jonathan is currently a Company Artist with ballet 5:8 while coaching the company in current repertoire and technique.

MICALA LOOSE

Micala began her training at the age of 4 and has trained in many styles of dance. She spent 13 years training at Revolution Dance Studio and was a member of Revolution Dance Company for 10 years. As a member of Revolution Dance Company, she was an assistant for 6 years for various instructors in styles including jazz, hip hop, and ballet. As a senior, her and her duet partner did a student choreographed contemporary duet that won second place overall at various competitions and got recognized for great precision from the judges. She was also a member of Plainfield South’s dance team for all four years, being a Captain her senior year and helping with choreography for multiple routines.

In addition to studio training, Micala participated in Still Inspired’s Future Artists Program for 2 years. Still Inspired is a professional contemporary company that combines dance with art and gives the opportunity for high schoolers to create student choreography each season. The first year she was a dancer in someone else's choreography. The second year she set a piece of choreography based on an Artists’ painting that was performed in Chicago. Micala was certified in Acrobatic Arts module one in January of 2023, and she hopes to get certified in Acrobatic Arts module two soon.

In May of 2025, Micala will be graduating from Lewis University with her Bachelors of Arts in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Spanish. Her passion for teaching along with her years as an assistant, led her to love working with young students to help them develop a love for all things dance and learning!
